ABOUT YOURSELF?

Hello I’m Oshin, I have just completed second year of my Btech degree here at IIT
BOMBAY in Material Science department. My passion is to learn new technologies
and concepts. Last semester, I have learnt how to use SolidWorks and built a
complex model from scratch as part of a project. I have also completed the course on
heat and mass transfer last semester as part of my core courses. Due to having an
interest in coding, I coded a program to solve 1D heat conduction problem in
transient mode by the finite dimensional analysis. I used OCTAVE language for it and
did it with the Implicit method. Also, I love to play cricket and had won many
trophies and medals in the inter and intra hostel tournaments.
WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?
Sir I see you are looking for candidates who can provide their feedback in optimizing
and increasing the efficiency of the refining process. By doing many group projects
before and having a good base in mass and heat transfer and quick grasper of
situations I believe I will be a good fit for the position.
WHY YOU WANT TO WORK WITH IFP?
Sir I have completed half way of my degree in Metallurgy and Material Sciences and
when I saw yours company which is very well established providing such a great
opportunity and industry exposure, I thought I should not miss it.
STRENGTHS?
Dependability, learnability, logic
5 YEARS FROM NOW?
Sir want to see myself in a position where I can use my maximum potential to give
my best for the problems that I will face then.
LACKING EXPERIENCE?
Yes, sir I thought about it and tallied my knowledge with that required for the job
description I do believe I’m missing out on some topics. But I’m a quick learner sir
and if given an opportunity I will pick them up very fast.
