1) recorded video lessons available on the e-learning page
[https://elearning.uniroma1.it/course/view.php?id=11798] regarding the five mathematics topics that are the
subject of the test. These video lessons are also available in the English version. 2) online and in-
person tutoring classes from mid-September 2023 to April 2024 in which the
and discussed exercises on the five topics regarding the OFA test.

The additional training obligations (OFA) are considered satisfied if at least 12 of the 20 questions of the OFA test are
answered correctly. The OFA test takes place in person, at the computer center of the SBAI department (pal. RM004,
via Scarpa 14). In case of failure, you can try again after at least 30 days.

Failure to complete the OFA will make it impossible to take exams.

Only for the courses in Technological Innovation Engineering for Construction (Rieti campus) and

Attachment 1. TOLC-I, ENGLISH TOLC-I (also in TOLC@HOME mode)

Candidates who are enrolled in the fourth or fifth year of secondary schools or who have obtained the relevant diploma are eligible to take
the TOLC-I or ENGLISH TOLC-I (also in TOLC@HOME mode).

A1.1 - TOLC-I
The TOLC-I is an assessment test aimed at ascertaining preparation for studies; it is provided on the computerized platform
managed by the Inter-university Consortium for Integrated Systems for Access (CISIA). These are individual tests, different from student
to student, composed of questions selected automatically and randomly from the CISIA TOLC-I database through software; all TOLC-Is
generated have a similar or comparable level of difficulty. The CISIA TOLC-I database, containing the questions used to carry out the
test, is protected and validated by national scientific commissions established by CISIA.

On the website www.cisiaonline.it more information is available on the organization of the test (https://www.cisiaonline.it/
area-tematica-tolc-energia/home-tolc-energia/) and it is possible to carry out exercises and placement tests (PPS) of the TOLC -I
(https://arancio.cisiaonline.it/utenti_esterni/login_studente.php).

The TOLC-I can be taken both at Sapienza and in any of the other CISIA participating locations on the dates and sessions shown on the
website www.cisiaonline.it; each test day is divided into several shifts; the address of the office and the opening hours are indicated at the
time of registration on the portal www.cisiaonline.it
When registering, it is therefore necessary to indicate the location where the test will be taken.
Attention: Registrations close approximately one week before the day identified for taking the test.

The TOLC-I registration receipt printed from the CISIA website must be shown on the day of the test to access the test room.

The test can only be repeated once per calendar month regardless of the booking location and the type of delivery.

A1.2 - TOLC-I in TOLC@HOME mode CISIA has prepared a

procedure, called TOLC@HOME following the announcement of the national state of emergency on 31 January 2020 and the issuing
of Legislative Decree no. 23 February 2020. 6, containing urgent measures regarding the containment and management of the
epidemiological emergency from COVID 19.
The TOLC-I in TOLC@HOME mode allows the regular delivery of the test even at students' homes and is in every way identical to the
TOLC-I.
The TOLC-I in TOLC@HOME mode is taken on the dates and sessions shown on the website www.cisiaonline.it.

A1.3 - Enrollment in TOLC-I (also in TOLC@HOME mode)

Registration for the TOLC-I (also in TOLC@CASA mode) takes place online on the CISIA (Interuniversity Consortium for Integrated
Systems for Access) portal at http://www.cisiaonline.it and requires a fee of €30 ,00.

Please note: during the registration phase it is necessary to pay attention to entering the correct tax code; to acquire the score obtained on
the test, the tax code entered on Infostud and the CISIA website must correspond.

A1.4 - Structure and evaluation of the test The TOLC-I

(also in TOLC@HOME mode) is made up of 50 questions divided into 4 sections.
The sections are Mathematics, Science, Logic, Verbal Comprehension.
At the end of the TOLC-I (also in TOLC@HOME mode) there is an additional section for testing the knowledge of the English
language.

Sections Number of questions Time available

Mathematics 20 questions 50 minutes
Logic 10 questions 20 minutes
Science 10 questions 20 minutes
Verbal comprehension 10 questions 20 minutes
Total 50 questions 110 minutes

11
Machine Translated by Google

English 30 questions 15 minutes

Total with English 80 questions 125 minutes

The topics covered by the test are reported in a Syllabus which can be consulted at: https://www.cisiaonline.it/
area-tematica-tolc-engineering/structure-della-prova-e-syllabus/

The result of each TOLC-I (also in TOLC@HOME mode), relating to the Mathematics sections,
Science, Logic and Verbal Comprehension is determined by the number of correct, incorrect and unanswered answers which determine
an absolute score, resulting from:

1 point for each correct answer;

The ENGLISH TOLC-I is an evaluation test aimed at ascertaining preparation for studies; it is provided on the computerized platform
managed by the Inter-university Consortium for Integrated Systems for Access (CISIA).
These are individual tests, different from student to student, composed of questions selected automatically and randomly from the CISIA
ENGLISH TOLC-I database through software; all ENGLISH TOLC-Is generated have a similar or comparable level of difficulty. The CISIA
ENGLISH TOLC-I database, containing the questions used to carry out the test, is protected and validated by national scientific
commissions established by CISIA.

On the website www.cisiaonline.it more information is available on the organization of the test (https://www.cisiaonline.it/
area-tematica-english-tolc-energia/home-english-tolc-i/) and it is possible to carry out exercises and placement tests (PPS) of the ENGLISH
TOLC-I (https://arancio.cisiaonline.it/utenti_esterni/login_studente.php).

When registering, it is therefore necessary to indicate the location where the test will be taken.
Attention: Registrations close approximately one week before the day identified for taking the test.
