Basic Function of the Position: The
position is located in the Consular
Major Duties: Section , U.S. Embassy, New Delhi.
The incumbent will serve as the primary
cashier for American Citizen Services,
Immigrant Visa(IV), and Non-Immigrant
Visas(NIV) units. S/he will be
responsible for collecting fees in cash
or financial instruments for all consular
services and working with the consular
and management officers to meet all
fee-reporting and reconciliation
requirements . S/he will serve as the
primary NIV Liaison for the Automated
Cash Register System, interacting with
consulate and financial systems
personnel when necessary. S/he will
provide support to the NIV and IV units
with a variety of administrative tasks,
including data entry of visa applications,
pasting visas into passports, and
scanning documents. The incumbent
will also perform other duties as
