Scope of Forensic Science in India:

1.Forensic Expert:

 As a forensic science graduate, you can become a forensic expert.


 These experts are responsible for the investigation of crime scenes, collection of suspected
evidence, examination of evidence, body analysis, and conducting autopsies.

2.Forensic Investigator:

 These experts work in close collaboration with law enforcement agencies and help in crime
mystery solving.
 They work with companies, government departments, and independently as well.
 They present the required proof and testify in court.

3.Crime Scene Investigator:

 These experts investigate the crime scene, collect and document the evidence collected, and
assist the prosecutors in the case hearings.
 They can work with government agencies and can work independently as well.

4.Handwriting Expert:

 Have you ever thought about how the handwritings reveal the identity of the offender?
 Handwriting patterns reveal the personality traits of the person
 They analyze the handwriting of different evidence with the people associated with crime and
present their conclusions to it.

5. Detective

 These experts can work with the government and private agencies or independently to carry out
an investigation of the accused and the victim.

6.Fingerprint Expert:

 These experts collect and examine the fingerprints collected from the crime scene and identify
the people who were present at the site.
 They do so by comparing the collected fingerprint samples with the suspects.
 They collect the data and store it in records for future reference.

7.Forensic Computer Expert

 These analysts work for the law enforcement agencies.


 Their primary role is the recovery of data from damaged hardware and software.
They try to recover the deleted photos and videos.
