Rule 2: Definitions
Government: Refers to the Central Government.
Government Servant: Any individual appointed to a civil post under the Union.
Family Members: Includes spouse, dependent children (biological or step), and
other wholly dependent relatives.
Employees on deputation or posted outside the government but paid from public
funds are still considered government servants.
