Computer Assignment

1. Introduction Paragraph with Formatting

• Write a paragraph (4–5 lines) introducing yourself. Use the past tense to describe things you have
done, such as hobbies, places you’ve visited, or experiences you’ve had.

• In your paragraph, mention your favorite activity or hobby and explain why you enjoy it.

• Format the text in Microsoft Word:

o Bold the past tense verbs in your paragraph.

o Change the font style of the entire paragraph to something other than the default (e.g.,
Aptos, Times new roman).

o Highlight one word or phrase in the paragraph that describes something you are
passionate about in a color of your choice (e.g., blue, yellow, or green).

• Save the document as "SelfIntroduction."

2. Creating a "My Favorite Things" List with Text Alignment

• Create a list of your favorite things (e.g., favorite food, favorite movie, favorite book, etc.) and write
one sentence about each item using the past tense (e.g., “I loved the movie ‘Titanic.’”).

• In Microsoft Word:

o Align the text in the center for each item (your favorite thing).

o Change the font size for the heading of your list to 18 and make it bold.

o Change the color of the text for each item to a different color.

o Use italics for one of the items to emphasize something that is special to you.

• Save the document as "FavoriteThingsList."

3. Creating a Personal Diary

• Write a short diary (4-5 lines) describing an interesting day or event from your past using the past
tense. It could be something fun you did recently, a trip you took, or an experience you enjoyed.

• In Microsoft Word:

o Insert a photo that relates to the event or experience (e.g., if you write about a vacation,
insert a picture from that vacation).

o Make the first sentence bold and change the font to Times New Roman.

o Highlight the most important event or feeling you want to emphasize with a bright color
(e.g., yellow or orange).

o Save the document as "DiaryEntry."
