ABDOMEN AND PELVIC SONOGRAPHY


LIVER: There is grade I fatty infiltration in liver. The liver is mildly enlarged in size 16.1 cm. Hepatic veins
and intrahepatic portal vein radicles are normal in size and distribution. No focal solid or cystic mass lesion is
noted.

GALL BLADDER: Gall bladder appeared normal. No mural mass or calculus is noted.
CBD: Common bile duct appeared normal. No calculi seen in the common bile duct.

PANCREAS: is normal in shape size and echotexture. No focal lesion seen.


SPLEEN: Spleen is normal in size 10.3 cm, shape and echotexture. No focal lesion is seen.

KIDNEY:
Tiny echogenic renal concretions noted in the right kidney.
Right kidney measures 97.5 x 31 mm and Left kidney measures 99.6 x 40.7 mm. Both kidneys are normal in size,
shape, position, echogenicity and echotexture. Normal corticomedullary differentiation is noted. No focal solid or
cystic mass lesion is seen. Pelvicalyceal systems on both sides are normal.

URINARY BLADDER: The urinary bladder shows physiological distention. Mobile echoes noted in UB lumen.

PROSTATE: The prostate is normal in shape, position, echogenecity and echotexture. Echogenic concretions
noted in the prostate.

OTHER: Visualized portions of IVC and Aorta are grossly normal. There is no free or loculated fluid collection in
abdomen or pelvis. No significant lymphadenopathy is noted.

Excessive bowel gas shadows noted in the abdomen.

IMPRESSION:
 Mild hepatomegaly with Grade I fatty liver.
 Tiny right renal concretions.
 Mobile echoes noted in UB lumen - Correlate with urine Routine and Microscopy.
 Excessive bowel gas shadows in the abdomen.
