PRE-REQUISITES:

The following access rights are required by KB service engineers to enable

connection through laptop to ESRA system:

1. Rights to change system IP address (Important)

2. Rights for exemption from local firewall (Important)
3. LAN/WLAN access in parallel (Not required)

These rights are important to establish connection to ESRA system. If these rights
have not been enabled on the user’s laptop, contact IT immediately to enable them.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

The following are required:

1. KBI laptop with working licensed ST03 software (service engineer license)
2. Ethernet Cable

Note: There are two different IP addresses to communicate with the ESRA system. One is
designated to communicate with ESRA on PICCU coaches (MCF make) only and the
other is the standard version used for all normal coaches.

The IP address to be inputted for both the version is as follows:

IP ADDRESS FOR NORMAL COACHES IP ADDRESS FOR PICCU COACHES

IP ADDRESS 192.168.0.100 IP ADDRESS 192.168.1.3
SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0 SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0
DEFAULT 192.168.0.110 DEFAULT 192.168.1.100
GATEWAY GATEWAY

Kindly input IP address based on coach type to establish connectivity
