Welcome, everyone.

I am [Emcee's Name], and I am thrilled to present our latest collection, which explores
the principles of formalism in fashion design. In this collection, the focus is on the intrinsic qualities of the
garments—their color, shape, texture, and form—without external references. Through this project,
formalism unveils the aesthetics of Filipino culture. Now, let us delve into our group's outfit inspired by the
Philippine teleserye: Amaya!

The outfit worn by our model, Miss Zyren De Las Alas, is inspired by the Philippine teleserye Amaya, starred
by Marian Rivera, way back from 2011. The drama was about the destiny of Amaya to become the savior of
her land against Rajah Mangubat during the pre-colonial period in the 1500s.

Our color palette is a deliberate choice of gold and red, with a touch of white, black, and a tad of brown...
designed to evoke a strong visual impact and provide a sense of regal splendor. The interplay of these hues
creates a dynamic visual experience.

Notice the use of different lines throughout the collection. Symmetrical and assymetrical lines not only
shape the silhouette, but also guide the viewer's eye, creating a visual pathway that enhances the overall
design.

We’ve experimented with both geometric and organic forms to sculpt unique silhouettes. Each piece has
been crafted to showcase innovative shapes that redefine traditional garment structures.

Texture plays a crucial role in this collection. By combining soft cotton and rough but lightweight top, we
have created a tactile landscape that invites touch and adds depth to the visual composition.

We’ve designed this garments with movement in mind. As you watch them on the runway, notice how they
create a rhythmic flow, enhancing the visual experience.

Contrasting elements—whether through color, texture, or shape—highlight key design features and create
bold, striking looks. This Amaya-inspired outfit is meticulously crafted to also ensure unity and harmony.
Together, they tell a cohesive story that is both visually compelling and artistically significant.

By examining the form and style through the lens of formalism, we gain a deeper appreciation for the
artistry and cultural significance embedded in every stitch. Filipino costume design serves as a bridge
between generations, ensuring that traditions and stories are passed down, thread by thread. Thank you
