APPOINTMENT/CONTRACT LETTER

Congratulations! We are pleased to confirm that you have been selected to work
with our company in Canada. We are delighted to offer you this Job at Milch
Engineering. The contract that you have been provided is for four years. You can be
made permanent staff after six months of joining our company. It will be based on
Merit and Satisfactory Performance. The position you have been offered is
Electrical Technician.

Your Job Application reference number is (MLC/ET/235/KN/CA).


This document Endorses the approved legal terms for this contract, with the
mandate to provide excellent services as stipulated in this contract document. The
Work Environment Will Be Within the Work Metropolis Milch's Engineering.
Upon arrival, you will report immediately to the Human Resource
Director/Recruitment Manager (Mr. Peter Robinson) to conclude the screening
prospects.
1. POSITIONS AND DUTIES: The employee shall carry out all lawful and legitimate
duties assigned by the employer
2. WORKING HOURS: Your working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm. (Monday-
Saturday). You are entitled to one hour of lunch break every day. But there may
be a shifting schedule in case of an emergency.
3. SALARY: Your starting basic monthly take-home salary will be 9,500.00 CAD Per
Month after deducting tax and insurance, which may be received before the 28th
of every month. Salary can be transferred to any Bank or Country of your choice.

You will also receive the sum of 500 CAD weekly as an upkeep allowance.
4. FEEDING AND ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation on arrival and Throughout
the Four-year contract duration will be provided at our reserved staff apartments
at Milch Engineering Staff Quarters, 100 Prince Philip Dr, St. John's, Newfoundland
and Labrador A1B 3R4, Canada.
5. Also, You Are Expected to Eat at The Staff Canteen Free of Charge, As There Are
Dietary Options For Vegetarians And Non-Vegetarians.
6. ANNUAL LEAVE: You will be entitled to thirty (30) days o f paid leave
annually.The first of such holidays becomes due after completing Five (5) months
of probation. Milch Engineering shall bear the cost of Airfare for a vacation trip for
the employee and their family.
7. INTERVIEW: There will not be any other form of an interview for this recruitment
process, and as such, upon your assessment, qualifications and job experience have
been considered. Meanwhile, upon your arrival, we will conduct two-weeks of
compulsory training to keep you abreast of the nature of your assigned designation
with the company.
8. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: All government gazette public holidays may be observed
depending on work necessities. The management may decide to operate on a
holiday on overtime paid hours. Employees may not proceed on any holiday(s)
without approval from the concerned departmental supervisor.

9. MEDICALS: Employer Will Provide The Employee With Comprehensive Health


Care For The Term Of The Contract And Follow-On Care For Injuries Suffered
During The Term Of The Contract For the Employee And Family.
10. SICK LEAVE: You must notify the company and your immediate supervisor
as soon as possible if you cannot work for any medical reason. Such notice will be
given within the working day's first five (5) hours. In the case of an emergency, the
employee’s next of kin will be immediately notified.

11. INSURANCE: Employee is entitled to health insurance scheme under Canadian


law. You are entitled to fourteen (14) days of paid sick leave annually. The Canadian
Expatriates Financial Statutory Law shall govern this Offer Letter of Contract Would
Demand (CEFSL).
12. EXPENSES BEFORE TRAVEL BY EMPLOYEES:
Expenses Made/Incurred by the Employee Related to the Job before
Commencement of Duty or Expenses Made During Travel Plans, Processing of
Travel Particulars ETC Will Be Substantiated with Proof. The Employer Will
Reimburse the Employee Not Later Than Seven (7) Working Days Upon Submission
of the Employee Expense Report And Original Copies As Proof of Such Expenses.
Employer, However, Agrees to Reimburse Fully All Travel Costs and Expenses Made
by Employee.
Employer Would Not Pay Total Costs for Travel Expenses, Processing of Work/
Resident Permit Papers of Employee Before Work Sign-On. This Is to Possibly Evade
Losses That May Be Accrued to the Employer if the Employee Decides to Decline
the Job Offer after the employer must have made certain expenses. This
Agreement, at this moment, Binds Employer and Employee in That
Reimbursements Will Be Made Fully to the Employee Upon Presentation Of
Expense Reports And Proof Of Expenses.

13. SAFETY & SECURITY


Safety and Security (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and Communities
Are No Small Issues and Have Been Seriously Considered to Ensure and Assure
Hitch Free Operations; All Workers Are Entitled to Adequate Security

At Their Residential Quarters, All Operations on Job Location Are Designed to


Adhere Strictly to The Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy.
Recreational/Sports Facilities Shall Also Be Available at Your Disposal with No
Expenses to Be Incurred. Laundry And dry-cleaning Service Will Also Be
Available to You through Our Company’s Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Unit. You
Shall Be Required to Furnish Us with Your Valid CANADIAN Employment Visa
on or Before 17 March 2025 As Proof of Readiness to Join the Milch
Engineering team. Your job resumption date is 24 March 2025.
14. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT:
(i) Notice period of six (6) months or an equivalent amount of wages in lieu of notice
shall be given by both parties before the termination of this contract.
14.0 OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WORK EMPLOYMENT:
(i) You Must Submit Your Original Certificates and Credentials to The Human
Resources /Recruitment Director for Screening as soon as you arrive in CANADA.
(ii) You are expected to pay for the Visa Processing Fees to a Reliable Legal
Immigration Consultant at the Canadian High Commission, which will be
communicated to you in no time.

(iii) All Expatriates Contacted and Contracted for This Engagement Will Have The
soft copy Of Their Job Contract Engagement Papers Document Forwarded to The
Reliable and authorised Immigration Consultant Assigned To Procure Their
Travelling Documents, Immigration Particulars, Work Permit, Etc.
(iv) You must Make Yourself Available and report to your duty post within the
stipulated time. These Are Strictly Stated in Company’s

OPERANDI. If The Condition stated above is acceptable to you,
(V) You are directed to contact our immigration consultant at the Visa support unit
via email, which shall be communicated to you. A copy of this document signed
by you should be sent to my office and sent a copy to our Immigration consultant.
(VI) VISA PROCESSING:
The company will send all the necessary documents to its authorised Visa Officer
at the corresponding High Commission of Canada/Embassy to assist the employee
in their visa processing and ensure they are allowed a work visa under any
condition.
