LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
1. Describe a previously held leadership position, activities, or experiences: (i.e. positions where
you guided or led a group of people, a project, or a cause in which you were involved)
I have been actively engaging in groups and forums in our school. for instance
I had worked as a leader of traffic group in our preparatory school for two years.
I had been also worked as head of student's union for 2 years when I was in high
school. I have been participated in as member and as group leader of peace forum,
group of youth empowerment, cafe committee , our class's representative and
student union I have participated actively in many conferences, seminars and
experience sharing programme during two years my university duration. I have
experienced about dealing with people, come a person to the way I think, treating
rude behaviour and patience.
I had been received awards since grade one up to grade 12 from my class
in most cases ranked a first and top three from my high school studies.
I used to participate in community service, like helping socially disadvantaged
teaching elementary school student and empowering youth, during the break from
university and I received a certificates for the service.
3. What are you passionate about and how will your program of study contribute to your passion?
I am passionate to the programme you are giving because I starve for higher quality of education especially
with fully funded scholarship. I want to learn with student that come from different culture, country and
speak different language and competitor international student.
Accounting is my dream to learn and my aspiration is to be a competent professional of business administration.
I am sure that ,since your programme is fully funded and world wide standard , I will be
be a dedicated student and a competent professional.

create change and improve the lives of others.
Describe the voluntary/community activities and experiences you have engaged in the past
Before the war's broke out,when I was a student at mekelle university, on summer I had been
participating in voluntary community activities such as helping to old aged with illness or no supporter, on.
I had been teaching children on our village with no access to school during the summer break.
During the siege and the war I was engaging in local NGO called Tnsaee that collect money from
voluntary person's and Diaspora and distribute to those who are more emasculated by the siege and
blockade And I was also giving moral and awareness to raped women in our internally displaced people
camp. I am involving in caring and giving moral to those gunned during the siege and massacare.
Describe your aspirations for social change and how you plan to achieve social change through
your program of study
Servant philosophy is the philosophy I intend to follow as a program participant. my education is to lead social
and Economic revolution in developing countries. Every thing is related to political statues of the state. and to come
social, economical and educational change we have to work on our politics. it is known that here war occur by 20 year
period. thus my parent are emasculated and lived poor by the continuos war. My desire is to stop the periodic war.
and to invest on Education.

2. Go through your application and review to make sure you have all the required documents and your form
is completely filled before submission. Incomplete forms will not be evaluated.
3. Submit only 1 application. Multiple submissions will lead to automatic disqualification.
4. When submitting your application, all documents must be scanned in PDF format and named
accordingly then sent as an attachment(s) on email.
5. Do not convert your application form to word document when you download. Print the form, fill it and
then scan into pdf format. PDF editor is acceptable.
6. The subject of the application email should be your name and nationality.
7. Use the provided email address to send your application; [email protected]. Any
application sent to a different email address will NOT be evaluated.
8. If your sibling or immediate family member is a beneficiary of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars
Program at USIU-Africa, you are NOT eligible to apply.
