Introduction
The student experience is always evolving in higher education. To satisfy students' changing demands,
support services and facilities must be improved. The Student Experience Committee assigned me this
portfolio as a volunteer student representative at Waltham International College (WIC). This portfolio
evaluates WIC support services and facilities to find opportunities for improvement.
This task is significant given the shifting higher education scene. WIC evaluates and improves its support
services and facilities since they shape student experience. This portfolio critically analyzes and critiques
WIC's support systems and facilities to make informed changes.
My voluntary student representative position goes beyond data collection and presentation. I must
thoroughly and constructively examine WIC's assistance operations. This assessment's recommendations
aim to improve WIC student support services and facilities.

Overview of Waltham International College
Mission and Vision
The WIC purpose and vision promote academic quality, diversity, and student progress. Understanding
these fundamentals is crucial to assessing how successfully the institution's support services and facilities
meet its goals (Waltham n.d.).
Career Services
Career preparation is a major purpose of higher education. Professional services at WIC help with
internships, job placements, and career progression. This section will assess these services'
comprehensiveness and efficacy in assisting students move from academics to the workforce.
Additional Services
WIC may include financial aid, disability help, and foreign student services. Inclusion and efficacy of
these supplementary services in improving student experience will be assessed in this area.

Recreational Facilities
A balanced student experience includes academics and extracurriculars. This section evaluates WIC's
sports, student, and cultural facilities. The review will evaluate how these facilities improve student well-
being and community.
Technological Resources
Educational technology is essential in the digital era. WIC's computer labs, internet platforms, and virtual
learning tools will be assessed here. The analysis will examine how successfully these resources fulfill
student and academic program needs.
Campus Infrastructure
Campus infrastructure greatly affects student life. This section covers WIC's classrooms, labs, and
commons. Maintenance, accessibility, and activity appropriateness will be assessed.

This section will recommend WIC support service and facility improvements after a thorough review.
Comparative studies and personal thoughts will reveal this. Reviewing these recommendations will
improve WIC student assistance (Brown, 2022).

The conclusion will summarize this portfolio's results, assessments, and recommendations. It will
emphasize the need of robust support services and facilities for a great student experience. The conclusion
will stress the student representation, Student Experience Committee, and Waltham International
College's collaboration to develop continuously (Howard & Jones, 2020).
