HELLO!
In the far northern land, where bears roam, and 8 months a year
in winter, in a small town, real miracles happen!
Here ideas and descriptions are created and scattered all over
the world.
I am Katyusha Chirkova, and I create plush toys and write
patterns for you. They have already been loved by thousands of
crocheters around the world.
My toys are part of my soul, and I open it to you with warmth and
joy. Uniqueness, Simplicity, Accessibility are my main principles.
Openness and sincerity are the main guidelines.
I know, there is a part of warmth and light of the person, who
created it, in each toy... So tender, plush and touching.
Everything has already been calculated, weighed and written.
You just have to pick up your magic wand and create!

I wish you a creative mood,

inspiration and
pleasant crocheting!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
What is the size of the toy?
I crocheted in "checkmark" method. The toys I got were 11 cm long,
excluding the ears.

How much yarn does it take?

The main color requires 26-33 grams per skein. I crocheted with Himalaya
Dolphin Baby and Wolans Bunny baby. If you work with a different brand
of yarn, the consumption may vary.

About singeing the ends of the thread:

I recommend you lightly singe all the ends with a lighter to prevent the
plush fluff from flying in different directions from the end of the thread. This
prevents the plush from falling off the tip.

Push each Bobble st from the wrong side onto the front side using a
finger or a handle of a hook so that it is convex.

write which stitches to work in which color.

R17. 26sc (26)

directions on the sides from the inside. This is
necessary so that later, when stuffing, the
cheeks will be more rounded.

Designer Ekaterina Chirkova @chirka_toys 10

Insert the nose after the first Bobble st so that it
is in the middle of the snout. Insert the eyes on
the border of rounds 14 and 15 at a distance
of 3sc (count the stitches along round 15). The
photo shows the points where you need to
insert the eye legs and nose.

decoration
Take black yarn YarnArt Jeans and a suitable needle. Embroider the
eyelids, eyebrows and mouth.
Using a suitable needle and chenille yarn, embroider whites under
the eyes and pink cheeks. For the cheeks, two stitches are enough.

For the Pug, embroider under the eyes not using white yarn, but
brown. Use the same yarn as for the snout.

For Husky and Corgi embroider fur cheeks and chest. Use faux fur
yarn (I used Himalaya Koala) and a suitable needle. For the fur
cheeks, 2 long stitches are enough, starting from the snout and
ending at the border of white and gray (orange) stitches, moving
from the pink cheeks 3sc.

Designer Ekaterina Chirkova @chirka_toys 21

For the Dalmatian embroider spots of different sizes using black
chenille yarn and a suitable needle.

hanging Ears
I recommend first outline where the ears will be located. One edge of
the ear will be in round 16, and the other edge will be in round 20 of
the head. The distance at the crown from one ear to the other is 4-5sc.
The photo shows my markings.

Schematically, the ears look like this:

- chain (ch)
- slip stitch (sl st)
- double crochet (dc)

- treble crochet (tr)

Head
- crochet 3 tr together (tr3tog)

Insert the hook, completely grabbing the stitch in round 16 (photo 1),
and make ch6 (photo 2). Next, start from the 4th chain on the hook:
2 dc, 3 tr in one chain (photo 3). Join the ear to the head with 1sl st into
the stitch in round 20 (photo 4), which is marked with a pin.

1 2 3 4

Designer Ekaterina Chirkova @chirka_toys 23

For the second ear, insert the hook into the stitch in round 20 (photo 1),
which is marked with a pin. Ch8 (photo 2), but do not make the chain
too tightly, since this edge should correspond in length to the edge of
the first ear (you can even make ch9 if the ears do not turn out to be
the same length). Start from the 4th chain on the hook: 2 dc, tr3tog
(photo 3).
Attach the ear to the head with 1sl st
into the stitch in round 16 (photo 4),
which is marked with a pin. tr3tog - crochet 3 tr together

1 2 3 4

Straighten the ears, check if they are

the same size, if they are symmetrically
located, and only then you can fasten
the ends and hide them inside the head.

For the Dalmatian I made ears

of different colors:

Designer Ekaterina Chirkova @chirka_toys 24

erect ears
I recommend first outline where the ears will be located. One edge of
the ear will be in round 17, and the other edge will be in round 19 of
the head. The distance at the crown of the head from one ear to the
other is 5sc. The photo shows my markings. Please note that the ear
has a curved shape.

Schematically, the ears look like this:

- stitch on the head
- chain (ch)
- slip stitch (sl st)
- half double crochet (hdc)
- double crochet (dc)
Head
- treble crochet (tr)

Insert the hook, completely grabbing the stitch in round 17 (photo 1),
and make ch1 (photo 2). Next crochet 1 hdc and 1 dc into the next
stitch marked with a pin (photo 3). Crochet 2 tr in the sttich marked
with the next pin (photo 4).

1 2 3 4

Designer Ekaterina Chirkova @chirka_toys 25

Make ch3 (photo 5) and attach it to the head using 1 sl st in the stitch
with the last pin (photo 6). Due to the last action, the ear is bent.
In photo 7, I check whether the height of the chains and treble
crochet stitches is the same. Ideally, chains should not be too loosely,
but not too tightly.

5 6 7

For the second ear, insert the hook into the stitch in round 19 (photo
1), ch4 (photo 2) with the same density as on the first ear and 2 tr into
the next stitch (photo 3), marked with a pin, thereby forming ear
bend. In the next stitch on the head crochet 1dc and 1hdc (photo 4).

1 2 3 4

Attach the ear with 1 sl st into the last stitch marked with a pin.
Straighten the ears, check if they are the same size, if they are
symmetrically located, and only then you can fasten the ends and
hide them inside the head.
