Bacteria are ubiquitous microorganisms that can cause serious diseases, and handwashing with liquid soap is crucial for preventing their spread. Liquid soap effectively removes dirt and bacteria due to its surfactant properties, making it more hygienic than bar soap. The document also outlines a simple project for making liquid soap, emphasizing its importance in maintaining health and preventing infections.

BACTERIA
Bacteria are microscopic organisms, so small that we
cannot see them with the naked eye, but they are present almost everywhere in our environment. These microorganisms can live in the air, in water, in food, on our hands, and on virtually any surface we touch. Although many bacteria are harmless and even beneficial, there are others that can cause serious diseases in humans. These pathogenic bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella or Staphylococcus aureus, can be found on everyday objects such as mobile phones, doorknobs, money and poorly handled food.
Since our hands are in constant contact with these
contaminated surfaces, they become an efficient means of transport for bacteria, facilitating their spread. When we touch our eyes, nose or mouth, or prepare food without properly washing our hands, we can transfer these bacteria to our body, increasing the risk of infections. In fact, many common illnesses, such as colds, flu or gastrointestinal infections, are transmitted through dirty hands.
For this reason, frequent handwashing with
liquid soap is one of the most effective ways to prevent the transmission of dangerous bacteria and therefore reduce the risk of illness. Clean hands not only protect the person washing their hands, but also help prevent the spread of bacteria to others, creating a safer environment for everyone.
This project explores how liquid soap plays a key
role in daily hygiene and how its use is directly related to the existence and spread of bacteria in our environment. LIQUID HAND SOAP
Liquid soap is a type of soap designed to remove dirt
and bacteria from your hands and skin. Unlike bar soap, it comes in liquid form, making it easier to use and share without contamination.
Liquid soap has ingredients called surfactants that
help break down grease and oil particles on our hands, where bacteria hide. When we wash our hands with liquid soap and water, these oil particles, along with dirt and bacteria, are dislodged and rinsed away. This means that liquid soap not only cleans, but also disinfects by killing bacteria that can cause illness. Importance and benefits of liquid soap:
-Washing your hands with liquid soap is one of the
easiest and most effective ways to prevent infections. By removing bacteria and viruses from - our hands, you reduce the risk of them entering our body when we touch our face or eat.
-Regular use of liquid soap helps avoid common
illnesses such as the flu, colds or stomach infections, which are often transmitted by dirty hands.
-Unlike bar soaps, liquid soap comes in containers
with a dispenser, which makes it more hygienic and practical to use, since it is not so easily contaminated.
that prevent the skin from drying out, which is important for those who must wash their hands frequently.
By using liquid soap, we ensure a complete
cleanliness that not only removes visible dirt, but also invisible microorganisms that can cause illness. Additionally, it is recommended by doctors and health authorities around the world as a key measure to prevent the spread of infections, especially in public places or during disease outbreaks. Some liquid soaps are also being developed to be more environmentally friendly, using biodegradable ingredients and recyclable packaging, which reduces their environmental impact. PROJECT Ingredients: -Liquid or stick glycerin -Water -Fragrance -Dye
Utensils: -A container or plate -A spoon -Microwave -A plastic bottle
This project is somewhat easy to carry out and very
useful for society, so it is a product that we can sell or market. -Firstly, what we do is put our glycerin, whether liquid or bar, in our case it is liquid, well we will put it in a container, we will put half of the half or a quarter 1/4. -Then we will add another 1/4 of water at the same time. -And we will take this to a bain-marie or, like us, in a microwave, we will heat it for a minute. -We must then wait about 10 minutes or less just so that the container is not hot. - After this we stir the glycerin with the water until it is completely together. -Following this we will add a tablespoon of coloring. -We will add a tablespoon or two of fragrance depending on how much smell we want it to have. -And to finish, in the same container in which we did everything, we will stir again until the color and fragrance are together with the soap. -We will only wait 3 hours and we will have our soap ready. So we already brought one made. CONCLUSION
Liquid soap is an essential tool to keep our hands
clean and free of bacteria. Its easy use and effectiveness make it one of the best ways to protect our health, as it prevents the spread of common diseases. This is a project that we can sell since, as my colleagues explained, it is very useful for eliminating bacteria.
