ABSTRACT

The rapid growth of technology has transformed the education sector, with e-learning
emerging as a viable alternative to traditional teaching methods. This project aimed to design
and implement an e-learning platform for Bamidele Olumilua University of Education,
Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State (BOUESTI). The platform was developed to
provide an e-learning platform that enhances students' abilities and understanding, fostering
continuous growth and improvement. The platform enables lecturers to upload lecture
materials periodically, issue and grade assignments and quizzes, and facilitate direct
communication between lecturers and students without relying on external email or third-party
websites. Throughout the development process, I prioritized user-centered design principles to
ensure that the platform's elements are intuitive, interactive, and conducive to effective
learning. As the platform continues to evolve, future enhancements will be integrated to
further improve the user experience and support the academic success of students.
