One sunny Saturday, Adam and his family went to the beach. Adam loved the beach because
he could swim in the sea and build sandcastles. When they arrived, Adam quickly ran to the
water. The waves were gentle, and the water was cool. Adam splashed around, laughing with his
sister, Sara.
After swimming, Adam and Sara decided to build a giant sandcastle. They used buckets and
shovels to pile up the sand, and soon they had a tall castle with towers and a moat. Adam found
some seashells to decorate the castle, making it look even more special.
In the afternoon, Adam’s dad bought ice cream for everyone. Adam chose chocolate, and Sara
picked strawberries. As they ate their ice cream, they watched the seagulls fly over the water. It
was the perfect end to a fun day.
Before leaving, Adam made sure to take one last look at the sandcastle. He was proud of what
he had built, and he couldn’t wait to come back to the beach again.

The Little Garden
Maya loved flowers and dreamed of having her own garden. One spring day, her mother gave
her a small patch in the backyard to plant flowers. Maya was so excited! She went to the store
with her mother and picked out seeds for sunflowers, daisies, and roses.
When they got home, Maya carefully planted each seed in the soil, making sure they were
spaced out nicely. Every day, she watered her little garden and made sure it got plenty of
sunshine. She even pulled out the weeds to keep her plants healthy.
After a few weeks, tiny green shoots started to peek out of the soil. Maya was thrilled! She
checked on them every morning before school and every evening when she got home. Slowly,
her garden grew, and the flowers began to bloom.
The sunflowers grew tall and bright, the daisies danced in the breeze, and the roses smelled
sweet. Maya was proud of her hard work and loved showing her garden to her friends and
family. She learned that taking care of plants takes patience, but the results are worth it.

Max and the Rainy Day
One Saturday, Max woke up to the sound of rain tapping on his window. He had planned to
play outside, but now it was too wet. Max sighed and wondered what he could do instead. His
mom suggested that he could build a fort in the living room.
Max loved that idea! He grabbed some chairs, blankets, and pillows, and started building his
fort. It was big enough for him to crawl inside and read his favorite books. He brought in a
flashlight, snacks, and his stuffed bear, Charlie. Inside the fort, Max felt cozy and warm while
the rain poured outside.
After reading for a while, Max decided to draw pictures of his fort and the rain. He used
colorful crayons to draw the blankets and pillows he used. Then, he drew big raindrops falling
from the clouds.
By the time the rain stopped, Max had enjoyed his day inside so much that he didn’t mind
missing out on playing outside. He was proud of his fort and his drawings and couldn’t wait to
show them to his mom and dad.

morning, she found the sky was cloudy, and soon, it started raining.
Emma was disappointed. She had planned to play outside in the backyard with her friends.
Her mom saw how sad she was and came up with a new plan. Instead of canceling the party,
they would have it indoors! Emma’s dad moved the furniture around to make space, and her
mom set up fun games in the living room.
When her friends arrived, they played musical chairs, freeze dance, and a scavenger hunt.
Everyone was laughing and having fun. Then, it was time for cake. Emma blew out the candles,
made a wish, and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
At the end of the day, Emma realized that even though it rained, she had an amazing birthday.
