HOW TO PROCEED FOR VVM 2024-25 FINAL EXAM

B. Desktop/Laptop Device

1. Exam can be attempted only once on Monday, 11th November, 2024 through VVM 2024-25
Final Exam Application only. Timing for the same is from 10:00am to 08:00pm (any time as
per the convenience of students/schools). Last login will be till 07:59pm.
2. Uninstall the previously installed VVM Exam Application (SEB File). Download and Install the
latest version (V85) of VVM 2024-25 Final Exam Application after 12:00 noon on 10th
November, 2024 for attending exam on 11th November, 2024 from the home page of VVM’s
website along with all other important Links. App version should be V85.

STEP-1
3. Download Safe Exam Browser by clicking on the links given. No need to download and reinstall it
if you have installed it earlier. Instruction related to installation are given in the same page.

Download Safe Exam Browser according to the Operating System of your device.
4. Right click on the SafeExamBrowser (downloaded) file and click on “Run as administrator”

5. Download Final Exam SEB file (vvm_final_exam.seb) App. Link to download this file is given in
the Green Color Box.

6. To open Final Exam SEB file (vvm_final_exam.seb) App with administrator privileges (Right Click
on the App > Run as Administrator or click on Open with > Safe Exam Browser). Running/Opening
the app as an administrator is compulsory. To run/open the application as administrator on
desktop/laptop please Right click on the downloaded file. There you can see an option "Run as
administrator". Click on it. If it asks for a password, then enter the admin account password of
your computer/laptop.
 Right Click on Final Exam SEB file (vvm_final_exam.seb) file and click on “Open with”

Now select “Safe Exam Browser” and click “ok”

7. In case if you are seeing Version V83 or V84 and are not able to login in your laptop/desktop
App, please download the latest file to attend the Final Exam as you are using the Old Exam
App. You should be able to see Version V85 which confirms that you have downloaded the
correct file.
8. To start exam, on the login screen, enter the Login Credentials provided to you and CAPTCHA.
Make sure version of the App is V85. Verify the version mentioned below Login button.
9. Click on Profile and verify that the login id you are using belongs to you and have your details.

10. Return back to Dashboard and Click on the Final Exam.

12. Select Language of Exam. (English will be available by default as Secondary Language). Now
click on Download Questions.

13. Now you will be landing on Instructions page. Read all the instructions carefully and check
mark the acceptance the click on Start Final Exam to view questions of Section-A.
14. Now you are in Section-A where you will have to answer 40 questions in 30 minutes’ duration.
You will see a screen like below – at top bar you can see which question you are on out of
total questions; Time Remaining and Go to Section-B option and in the below bar Version of
the App; Languages Switch to check English version’ Moving to Next or previous question
options along with the grid of Not Visited (white color), Visited but Not Answered (Blue color)
and Answered (Green Color) questions.
15. To end the Section-A click on the Go to Section B button only when you have answered all the
questions or are ready to move to next section. If you have time remaining in hands it is
suggested to use it for revision purpose as it won’t be carried forward and you will not be
allowed to come to Section-A again.

16. Once you submit Section-A you will be landing on the Section-B page. You will have to answer
60 questions in 60 minutes’ duration. You will see a screen like below with – switch language
to English – Moving to Next or previous question option along with the grid of Not Visited
(white color), Visited (Blue color) and Answered (Green Color) questions. All features will be
similar to Section-A.

17. Click on the End Exam button only when you have answered all the questions of Section-B
and are ready to end exam. If you have time remaining in hands it is suggested to use it for
revision purpose as you will not be allowed to attempt exam again.
18. After ending your exam you will be redirected to the upload answer-sheet screen.
19. Answersheet will be submitted automatically and on successful submission, You will get a
message on the top stating-” Final Exam is Given and Answersheet Submitted Successfully”
in green color bar. You will also be prompted to Download the Answersheet. Select the
folder you wish to download the file. If not, close the notification.
20. Answersheet Submission Status can also be confirmed from the dashboard also.

21. OPTIONAL - In case of failure in online submission, downloaded answersheet file can be sent
through email on [email protected] within 24 hours.
22. The text file can be found in the folder you have selected. School Exam Coordinators are
requested to gather all the files and make Zip Folder which can be shared through email of
above mentioned email id.
23. Do not try to minimize, shift or change tabs or play with any keyboard button while
attempting question paper. It will automatically submit your Answersheet or terminate your
session if you will try to do the same 3 times.
24. Do not try to modify the downloaded file otherwise tampered file will not be considered for
evaluation.
