Introduction to Business Analytics with Python

– Group Project - Description

This project will involve your choosing an industry or research problem you like.

How would you address these problem(s) using your knowledge of Python? – Consider
achievable scope to finish the project within the course duration.

Deliverable: A solution to the chosen problem.

The solution to the problem encompasses Python concepts and Learning, including
but not limited. Further, you can use Python program to demonstrate your solution.

Each group will also submit a written report, code, data, and PPT of their project
work before the end term of the subject.

Deliverables
Phase 1: Deliverable: (session 19-20)
Presentation

Phase 2: Deliverable:
Submission of final report, code, data, and PPT within one week of
presentation.

Report Instructions:
Write in your own words. Plagiarism will be penalized heavily.

 Reports to be typed (use a word processor, Times New Roman with font size 12)
and single-spaced with double spacing between headings and paragraphs.
 The report should run 10 to 15 pages, exclusive of title page,
bibliography/references.
 One page should cover title, authors and abstract.
 Abstract of your report should be an executive summary which provides
highlights from the report and summarizes the topics to be discussed in the
report.
 Outline for the report
 Cover page: with title, your group names and roll numbers, and abstract (a
summary of maximum 200 words including aim -main findings -
conclusion)
 Index with list of sections, tables and figures
 Introduction section: overview of topic and issues to be discussed. Write an
outline. Organize your thoughts. You may use section headings to indicate
the topic or purpose of sections of the report.
 Background: Organizational description, Problem description, and/or
detail of the issue, a brief information on the topic, scope, various points of
view
 Evaluation of the proposed solution prototype, recommendations and steps
which you wish to do in future if needed.
 Conclusion
 List of references: Apart from Textbook, compendium you may use a
variety of sources for information and arguments. If you use articles from
the Web, give the URL and the organization sponsoring the site. There's a
lot of junk and unsupported opinion on the Web. Pay attention to quality
of your sources. Make use of peer reviewed journals and articles. Use APA
