Procedure
1. Insert an Image into a Document
Open Open Office Writer.
Click on Insert > Picture > From File.
Select an image from your computer and click Open.
2. Modify, Resize, Crop, and Delete an Image
Click on the inserted image.
Resize by dragging the corner handles.
To crop, click Format > Image > Crop and adjust the selection.
To delete, select the image and press Delete.
3. Create Drawing Objects and Resize and Group Drawing Objects
Click on View > Toolbars > Drawing to enable the Drawing toolbar.
Select a shape (rectangle, circle, line, etc.) and draw it in the document.
To group multiple objects, select them, right-click, and choose Group or
Format->Group->Group
4. Position an Image in the Text
Click on the image.
Select Wrap options from the toolbar (e.g., Wrap Through, Wrap Tight).
Adjust the position as needed.
5. Create and Use Templates
Click on File > Templates > Save As Template. Name the template and save it.
To use a predefined template, click File > New > Templates, then choose a template.
To update a document using a different template, click File > Templates > Manage and
select the desired template.
Result:
Successfully inserted, modified, and positioned images and drawing objects in a document. Also,
created and used templates in Open Office Writer.
