Congratulations! With a foreign academic qualification and a binding job offer, you have a good chance of
working and living in Germany. You have several options:
You can apply for the EU Blue Card or for a work visa for qualified professionals in order to come to
Germany and take up employment there. For both residence titles, you must have your foreign
qualification completely recognised by the competent Germany body. Before applying for a visa, inform
yourself about the procedure and the possibilities in the "Recognition" section.
Please note: under certain circumstances, you can also apply for the recognition procedure after your
arrival in Germany within the framework of a recognition partnership. Find out more about the visa for a
