▪ Is a system of services designed to improve the adjustment of each and every person for
whom it was organized (Hatch and Costar, 1961) responsive to the student’s needs and
recognizes the student as an individual. Constitutes with a cluster of activities which
enable the students to overcome the problems they are facing as well as to encourage
the students' academic, social, emotional and personal development.
i Guidance Curriculum- provides content systematically through activities for the purpose
of awareness, skill development and the application of the skills learned.
ii Individual Planning- includes activities that will assist the students in planning,
monitoring, and managing their educational, personal, social and career development.
iii Responsive Services- includes counselling or referral activities to address the immediate
needs and concerns of students. The purpose is prevention, intervention, and referral as
needed.
iv System Support- an indirect guidance management activities that maintain and enhance
the total guidance program. These includes program, staff, and school support activities
and services. The purpose is to provide leadership and support in program delivery.

▪ Group Growth Program- is designed for the freshmen and transferee students. It aims to
facilitate their adjustment to the new academic environment by providing them with
activities that would enhance their emotional, social, spiritual, and mental growth and
development.
