Some people think that university education should be free, while others

think students should pay. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some people believe that university education should be free for

everyone, while others think students should pay for their studies. Both
sides have good reasons, and this essay will discuss both views before
giving my opinion.

Some people say that university should be free. Education is very

important, and everyone should have a chance to study, no matter how
much money they have. If universities were free, more students could go
to school and follow their dreams. However, free education would cost the
government a lot of money. Furthermore, if universities are free, they
might become too crowded, and the quality of education could become
lower.

On the other hand, some people think students should pay for their
education because it is a personal benefit. People with a university degree
usually get better jobs and earn more money. Due to the high cost of
running universities, student fees help keep the education system strong.
For this reason, many people believe it is fair for students to share the
cost. Moreover, paying for education may make students more serious
about their studies. In addition to helping universities improve, tuition fees
also allow schools to offer more courses and better facilities.

In conclusion, both sides have strong arguments, but I believe university

education should be free. Education helps both people and society by
creating skilled workers. Free education would give everyone a fair chance
to succeed, no matter how much money they have. Governments should
pay for education to help create a better future for everyone.
