DECLARATION OF LOCAL CONTENT BY LOCAL SUPPLIER

Subject : Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India)

References: Preference to Make in India including counter offering will be as per the public
Procurement (Preference to Make in India, Order 2017, Policy No P-45021/2/2017-PP(BE-II) dated
16 Sep 2020 and P-45021/102/2019-(BE-II)-Part(1)(E-50310) dated 04 Mar 2021.

1. We hereby declare that with reference to above subject and references, we M/s _________
are a (Choose any one as applicable)

(a) “Class-I local supplier” meeting the requirement of minimum local content equal to
50% (fifty percent) or more defined in the above government notification for the goods and
services.

(OR)

(b) “Class-II local Supplier” meeting the requirement of local content 20% to less than
50% (Fifty percent) defined in the above government notification for the goods and services.

(OR)

(c) Non Local Supplier (If not belonging to Class-I & Class-II)

for the product / item as specified in GeM Bid No _____________ dated _________ .

2. We further certify that the above declaration is made in compliance with Govt orders
issued from time to time and specifically vide Govt of India, Ministry of Commerce and
Industry, OM No.P-45021/102/2019-BE-II-Part(1)(E-50310) dated 04 Mar 2021 wherein Services
such as Transportation, Insurance, Installation, Commissioning, Training and after Sales
Service Support like AMC/CMC etc have not been counted towards calculations of % of local
content while classifying the suppliers as Class-I or Class-II.

3. We also understand that the false declarations will be in breach of the code of
Integrity under rule 175(1)(i)(h) of the General Financial Rules for which we (bidders & our
successors) can be debarred for up to two years as per Rule 151(iii) of the General Financial
Rules along with such other actions as may be permissible under law.
