JUST IN MY IMAGINATION?
When I was a child, we used to spend a month every summer with my
grandfather. He lived in a big old house near the coast. It was
completely isolated. There was a house nearby, but no one lived there.
The nearest village was about ten miles away. It was a terrible place for
a holiday. There was no one to play with.
Read again the first part of this story and find words which mean the following:

Read the advertisement on the school notice board. Decide if the missing
words are someone, anyone, no one or everyone.

someone, anyone, no one, everyone. (you only use these words to talk about
people). Someone and anyone usually work like the pronouns some and any.
Affirmative: There’s someone in my place.
Negative: There isn’t anyone here.
