With the help of a diagram, describe how compressions and rarefactions are produced in the air near a source of the sound. VI. Write three factors on which the loudness of sound depends. 3) Write Geiger and Morsden alpha particles scattering experiment and its result in detail. 4) What is ripple tank? Explain its construction and following properties of waves with the reference of ripple tank experiment. (a) Reflection (b) Refraction 5) With the help of an experiment, show that a material medium is required for propagation of sound. 6) How reflection (echo) of sound can be defined and explained.
