GENERAL RULES
1. Quali ed teams are requested to submit 10 hard copies (Petitioner-5 and Respondent-5) at the time of the
on-campus registration on 28th March 2025.
2. The language to be used during the rounds is English.
3. The Competition shall consist of the following rounds:
Preliminary Round I and Preliminary Round II (Online)
Quarter- nals (Of ine)
Semi- nals (Of ine)
Finals (Of ine)
4. During each of the above-mentioned rounds, the order in which the teams shall present their arguments is
as follows:

Petitioner Speaker 2
Respondent Speaker 1
Respondent Speaker 2
Rebuttal: Petitioner-Any one of the two Speakers
Sur-rebuttal: Respondent-Any one of the two Speakers

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?


The competition is open to all students, enrolled bona- de, on a regular basis, in an undergraduate law
course (3 years/ 5 years) conducted by any recognized College/Institution/University.
A recognized College/Institution/University is entitled to send a maximum of 2 teams to the competition.
Each team shall comprise a minimum of two members and a maximum of three members. In a team
comprising of two members, both members shall be designated as speakers. In a team comprising three
members, two members shall be designated as speakers and the third member shall be designated as a
researcher.
Teams shall not disclose their identity or that of their institution. However, the speakers can disclose their
names only to the bench during the oral arguments at discretion of the judges.

Winning Team: Rs. 30,000/-

Runners Up: Rs. 17,000/-

Best Speaker/Mooter: Rs. 3,000/-

Best Memorial: Rs. 3,000/-

Best Researcher: Rs. 3,000/

Medals for winners and runners up.

Certificate of participation for all participants.

METHOD OF REGISTRATION
Each team must register by lling up the registration form available on the of cial website
(www.amitymootcourtcompetitionlko.wordpress.com) and paying the registration fee as provided. Each team
shall complete such registration by 9th March 2025. (23:59:59 Hours IST).
Registration fee: Rs. 3,900/- (Rupees Three Thousand Nine Hundred) + GST (Applicable on the payment portal).
Registration fee will be non-refundable in case of non-participation after registration.
Participants shall register themselves through the registration link below or the website:
The reporting time is 10:00:00 Hours IST on 28th March 2025 at the registration desk of the competition venue
for registration and submission of hard copy.

ACCOMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORTATION


Accommodation shall be provided to all outstation teams, who have quali ed for the quarter- nals rounds, by
the Moot Court Committee from the afternoon (12:00:00 Hours IST) of 27th March 2025 till the morning
(10:00:00 Hours IST) of 30th March 2025. (Accommodation shall be optional to avail.)
Transportation to and from the venue, shall be provided to all outstation teams, who have quali ed for the
quarter- nals rounds for the aforementioned duration. If the teams opt to commute on their expense from the
station/airport to the venue the Moot Court Committee shall not pay the fare for it.
Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) shall be provided by the Moot Court Committee for all the teams on 28th
March 2025 and 29th March 2025. Outstation teams shall be provided with fooding facilities from the morning
of 28th March 2025 till the evening of 29th March 2025.
The teams availing the stay facility must abide by the hostel rules and regulations observed in the campus and
non-compliance of which shall lead to immediate disquali cation. No participant availing the stay facility shall
be allowed to leave the campus premises after 20:00:00 Hours IST and the entry timings in the hostel premises is
22:00:00 Hours IST.
In case of medical emergency assistance will be provided by the Moot Court Committee.
NOTE: Intake/use/mere possession of any prohibited substances (eg. cigarette/alcohol/narcotic substance/any
sharp object) is strictly prohibited during the stay throughout the competition, non-compliance of which may lead to
immediate disquali cation.
