18 Liquefied gas is a type of fuel used in cars and other vehicles. After petrol and diesel,
liquefied gas is the third most popular fuel in the world. For the past 2 decades, it has
been used as an alternative for petrol worldwide.

Based on the above situations answer the following questions.

i. In the year 2019, worldwide consumption of liquefied was 27 million tonnes, whereas in
India, its consumption was 0.42 million tonnes. What is the ratio of consumption of

ii. In the year 2019, India consumed 28.3 million tonnes of petrol and 83.5 million tonnes
of diesel. Is it correct to say that in the year 2019
19. A picnic is being planned in a school for class VII. Girls are 60% of the total number of
students and are 18 in number. The picnic site is 55 km from the school and the
transport company is charging at the rate of ₹ 12 / km, the total cost of refreshments
will be ₹ 4280.

Based on the above situations answer the following questions.

i. The ratio of the number of girls to the number of boys.

ii. The cost per head if two teachers are also going with the class.

20. A report consists of 20 sheets of 56 lines and each such line cnsists of 65 characters.
