If I had to talk about an invention that has revolutionized the globe favorably, the

first thing that springs to my mind is the Internet. To gain a deep insight into it, the
internet is a network that enables computers to communicate and exchange
information. It was evolved by many people over several decades, however two
computer scientists, Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn, are credited with devising the
Internet communication we use in this contemporary epoch. It is no exaggeration
to say that the Internet has engendered enormous merits in different respects in our
lives. First and foremost, it is considered as the most prominent means of
communication. To my knowledge, centuries ago only by sending letters could
people exchange information over a long distance. However, thanks to the
introduction of the Internet connectivity, we can send messages, make calls and
even video calls instantly, thereby being able to socialize and work with other
people across different parts of the world. In addition to this, it goes without saying
that the internet is an indispensable means of entertainment. To be more specific, it
is the internet that gives individuals opportunities to let off steam such as watching
movies or surfing the social media. Another reason worth mentioning is that it has
a positive impact on people of all ages. For the elderly, the internet helps them to
keep in touch with their offspring or relatives by making calls on social platforms
such as Zalo or Messenger. Additionally, not only do teenagers utilize the internet
as a means of entertainment like playing games, chatting with their friends, etc. but
also for studying purposes. With adult, they will find it useful to use the internet as
source of materials for work like composing documents and so on. Overall, from
the aforementioned points, I hold a firm belief that the Internet is one of the most
revolutionary inventions that has renovated our life in numerous aespects
