Future PLC is a cross media company that produces


websites but also do magazines. Future PLC is a mass media company because it
produces many different magazines and websites for many different people with age
or gender. Future PLC is not a conglomerate, it's a media company and it doesn’t
own other small companies. Future PLC is a multinational company that operates
in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Future PLC is not a privately
owned company it is more a public company.

Competing products
Future PLC owns the rights of Total Film magazine that talks about films and their
actors. Bauer has a similar magazine called Empire which both have the Gene and
both have the same still on the front cover. This means that Bauer and Future PLC
have a rivalry with film magazines.

Future PLC own TV Times which is a magazine about tv shows and many different
types of programmes with your favourite actors. Unfortunately Bauer also does a TV
magazine called Total TV Guide which looks the exact same as TV time with the
same genre. This means the companies are competitors.
