b) Quality oriented organizations often utilize quality standards as a basis against which
activities are measured and evaluated. However the applicability of these quality
standards usually depends on the nature on the project being undertaken. It is therefore
the role of the quality assurance team to ensure that the quality standards selected for
each project are pertinent for delivering the necessary quality requirements for any
software project undertaken by their organizations

After a successful completion of Kabarak university E-learning portal testing, the software testing
manager was happy to report the project success to the university management. Unfortunately,
management felt that system testing was not managed properly due to lack of documented evidence of
the activities carried out during the project period. The testing manager has approached for advice and
you realize that team did not have a quality assurance plan in place prior to system testing.
