SVIS Notice February 14, 2025

(For All Students – Pre-school – Std. XII) - Academic Year 2025-26


Dear Parents,
Warm greetings and best wishes from Sadhu Vaswani International School, Pune. Thank you very
much for showing faith in the values of SVIS. We will make sure that your child is happy and spends
fruitful years in school. Our School aims at a holistic, value based approach to education, built on
the foundation of culture, character, compassion and courage. We believe that the purpose of a
school is to lead young minds towards nurturing, not only the mind and body but also the soul of the
child. I am happy to have you as a parent and your child as a student of this esteemed institution.
These are a few points which we want you to make a note of:

o Report Days 2024-25 - (For existing students):


o Friday, March 28, 2025 – Stds. VIII, IX & XI
o Saturday, April 12, 2025 – Pre-primary
o Saturday, April 26, 2025 – Stds. I to VII
On all Report Days the timing will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am

 April Academic Session:


The new academic year begins for Stds. IX, X and XII on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The classes
will continue till Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The timings will be 7:55 am – 1:15 pm. Only on the
last day (April 30, 2025) the school will get over at 11:40 am.

 School Re-opening Schedule (June 2025):


o The school reopens for Stds. II to Stds. XII on Monday, June 09, 2025. On Monday &
Tuesday June 10, 2025 all classes from Stds. II to Stds. XII will work till 11:40 am.
Regular working hours (7:55 am–2:25 pm) will start for Stds. II – Stds XII from Wednesday,
June 11, 2025.
o The school reopens for Std. I on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 to
Friday, June 13, 2025 Stds. I will work till 11:40 am.
Regular working hours (7:55am–2:25pm) will begin for std. I from Monday, June 16, 2025
o The school will reopen for pre-school classes on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. They will
work from 9:00 am till 10:30 am till Friday, June 13, 2025.
Regular working hours (8:55 am-12:15 pm) will begin for pre-school from Monday, June 16,
2025.
o The school reopens for Std XI on Monday, June 16, 2025.

 Orientation meeting:

Orientation meeting for all new parents (only) will be conducted on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Timing: 10:00 am – 11:00 am. (for All classes)

The orientation meeting will be followed by a campus tour for all those who are interested.
Children will not be permitted to attend the meeting. Please reach before time as we are
extremely particular about starting the events on time.

 Textbooks & Notebooks:
Learning material for students of all classes (2025-26) will be available as per the following
schedule between 8:00 am – 12:00 noon in school campus.

The notebooks will have the school name and the school logo. We will not allow children to use any
other notebooks. Please bring a cloth bag with you on the day of purchase. The cost of the book set
will be conveyed to you along with the learning material. You can make the payment directly to
the vendor on the day of purchase (Cash, Gpay, PhonePay & Paytm) After these dates there
will be no repeat sale in the school premises.
 School Uniform:
School Uniform, PT Uniform, hairbands, Shoes (Adidas), socks, track pant, etc. will be given by
Feline World.

 Your child needs to be well-equipped with uniforms and books on the first day. The school re-
opens in April / June, so please make sure that you purchase the uniforms and the books on
time. You may purchase a simple school bag of your own choice.
 Transportation:
The school does not own bus service. We have permitted ‘Nageshwar Roadlines’ to offer such
transport services to parents directly. You may contact Mr. Mahesh Pawar on 9922941181 to decide
on the transportation for your child.
