About The Team And Role

This Product Manager will be responsible for leading the Value Added Services platform
that plays a key role in enabling growth for our focused category, collaborating with
engineering teams and delivering on category specific product roadmap. This includes
working closely with core engineering & design leads, business units, and multiple
Product & Engineering teams from our category teams at eBay. This is an individual
contributor role expected to drive execution of multiple product initiatives in a matrix
organization.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Product Manager for the ‘Value
Address Services’ Platform team here at eBay. As the Product Manager, you’ll be
responsible for driving the development and successful launch of different services
capabilities that power our key verticals. You will be the primary advocate of the
product, developing the product roadmap, and ensuring the product meets the needs of
our customers. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a consistent track
record in product management, with a focus on building/ managing platforms and a
passion for crafting products and services that deliver a delightful user experience. You
should also have the ability to use data and analytics to drive product decisions. Most
importantly, you should be a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to think
strategically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with a wide range of partners. If

What You Will Accomplish

 Lead our product execution for eBay focused category and it's corresponding
platform product needs
 Build and implement a compelling roadmap supporting our category business
growth goals
 Collaborate with researchers, analysts, designers and engineers charged with
improving category experiences
 Innovate and reinforce the field of our engineering operations, from sprint
reviews to definition of done. Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity,
scalability, and reliability
 Collaborate with partners across the organization to ensure product success
 Communicate product progress and updates to collaborators
 Ensure product aligns with all applicable industry regulations
 Monitor and analyze user feedback to identify areas of improvement

What You Will Bring

 5+ years of experience as a technical product leader, with significant time and


success in large scale enterprise, ideally eCommerce or marketplace company
 Experience in e-commerce delivering both buying and selling experiences
 Successful track record leading product development in shopping experience
 Experience successfully leading multiple projects from concept to delivery while
meeting schedules and budget
 Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable
 Proficiency in basic data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California,


Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$140,000 - $214,500

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including
location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may
also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as
applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits
(including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental
leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee
receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to
modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation
program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company
or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

About the team and the role:

We are looking for a driven Lead Product Manager to join our team and lead
the development of the core monetization platform that drives company
business growth. As a member of our monetization team, you will be
responsible for the marketplace pricing platform and tools, unlocking
revenue opportunities across key categories and regions and collaborating
with engineering teams to deliver on partner goals. This includes
implementing optimal monetization strategies and working closely with core
engineering and design leads, business leads, and multiple product and
engineering teams across eBay. This individual contributor role is expected
to drive execution of multiple product initiatives in a matrix organization.

What you will accomplish:

 Develop and communicate product vision and strategy for the pricing
platform and tools by deeply understanding user needs, business
goals, market trends, and competition. Based on this, prioritize
features and create a roadmap.
 Translate product strategy into clear, detailed, and actionable product
requirements
 Deliver roadmap on time, monitor timelines and progress, and adapt
plans based on feedback and data
 Measure product metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve
product experience
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design,
research, analytics, marketing, operations, and business units to
successfully deliver the roadmap and encourage user adoption of
shipped features
 Regularly report on key metrics and address performance issues and
risks to work towards successful achievement of goals
 Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability

What you will bring:

 9+ years as a technical product leader, with significant time and


success in large scale platforms. 2 years of experience in / related to
e-commerce. Marketplace experience is strongly preferred.
 Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
 Demonstrated success in driving innovation, product growth, and
delivering high-quality customer experiences with a customer-centric
and data-driven approach. Ability to understand user needs and find
simple and creative ways to solve them.
 Experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating highly
complex cross-functional projects end-to-end. Ability to influence and
drive decisions in ambiguous situations.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving, ability to forecast and measure
test performance, and monitor product health metrics. Proficiency in
basic data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau.
 Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize technical
conversations or partner requests in a clear and concise manner via
written and verbal communication and effective partner engagement
skills.

California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$174,000 - $271,150

including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package
