कफमारुते वासनत: that of Vasantha ritu (spring) in samsarga

मरुतो योर्वादहपवात ् since Vata (marut) is yogavahi (property of

intensifying the characteristics of partner).

Kapha and Pitta

Vata pitta vitiation Greeshma charya

(Ritucharya mentioned for Pitta vitiation itself i.e.
Greeshmacharya is to be adopted)

Vata kapha vitiation Vasantha charya

(Ritucharya mentioned for Kapha vitiation itself i.e.
Vasanthacharya is to be adopted)

The reason for this is the yogavaahi property of Vata. Yogavaahi means the
property of intensifying the characteristics of partner or the property of
augmenting the qualities of the associate material.

e.g. Vata when associated with heat (materials possessing hot

nature/potency), augments heat and actions of heat, whereas when
associated with cold (materials of cold nature/potency) it augments cold and
actions of cold. Hence treatment differs in accordance with the nature of the
substance with which it combines.

Kapha pitta vitiation Sarat charya

*Since Sarat charya is kaphasamaka र्फशमर्म्
and pithaghna वित्तघ्नम् (pittanasaka)+
