The most helpful thing you can do is learn to use the help menu to figure out things you do not know. Here is a

• Know the difference between a component and a device.


• How do you open multiple projects at a time?
• Know how to create an assembly, add to an assembly, and change the device designations of the parts
within the assembly using the assembly settings.
• Know how to manipulate the levels within a project to show/hide items.
• Place a connection path and wire at the same time.
• Know how to purge unused objects from a project.
• How to add attributes to the info column of project pane tabs using the tree control properties.
• Know how to create a dynamic cable and add/remove wires from it.
• What 2 tabs initially make up the output pane?
• How to open/close/delete sheets in a project.
• What is the E3.series schematic/cable project file extension?
