Note:
1. Sensitized patients often exhibit elevated levels of specific allergens, with a direct correlation between the kUA/L value and the
patient's exposure to the allergen.
2. It is crucial to interpret all test results in the context of the patient's individual medical history.

Comments:
House dust, comprised of various allergenic elements such as molds, pet and human dander, cockroach waste, and mites, can
trigger allergic reactions. Ordinary household dust is the primary culprit for allergic conditions, including asthma and upper
respiratory tract infections. Remarkably, even after the elimination of the mites and cockroaches, their waste products can sustain
allergic symptoms. House dust allergies are a leading environmental factor contributing to childhood asthma.

Interpretation:
This test measures the levels of specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies in response to dust mite allergens. Elevated levels
suggest sensitivity or allergy to house dust mites, which are common indoor allergens. Interpretation is done in the context of
clinical symptoms and medical history to assess the likelihood of allergic reactions.
