will be your hosts for a topic that i guarantee will change
how you percieve everything.

A 2018 MIT study has found that fake news spreads 6x faster
than real news, and we are victims of that.
Digital media is not educating us, it's manipulating us.

I'm about to explain what is known as "The filter bubble
effect"
We all know how social media relies on algorithms to
precisely select what form of content would be the most
appealing to us, which, on paper, sounds like a good thing,
we want only to watch what is appealing to us
However, this leads to our devices filtering all opinions
that differ from ours, and using any means to feed false
propaganda on us,
Our minds eventually grow isolated, and refuse to accept
anything but our beliefs, in some cases it leads to
organizations feasting on our fixed mindsets to sell us ideas
that are nothing but poison for our brains.

We all know about the war in gaza, and how the zionists are
murdering innocent palestinians for their personal benefit
But is that really true????
Well I believe that it is, but in this day and age, we can
never tell, digital propaganda concerning this topic is all
over the place, and the only winner here is the giant
organizations who feed off the contreversy.
As a live example, we will proceed to show you the ideas that
digital news feeds spread advertising different opinions
concerning this topic, one taking the palestinian side, and
the other taking the israeli.

Now for person A, who's constantly showered by anti-zionist
propaganda, if you tell them anything that differs from their
strong belief, they'll view you as a genocidal monster with
no humanity whatsoever
As for person B, who's only seen anti-hamas propaganda,
you're nothing but ignorant fools who don't value the right
of self defense
And this is a prime example of how digital media affects our
beliefs and causes conflict and war between the common folk.

Memes such as these have become one of the greatest political
weapons in this information war, spreading false claims in
order to shift our support towards a political party that's
based on lies
To them, all of them, we're nothing but prey.

This is the part where we're supposed to give solutions, but
we believe this kind of brainwashing is impossible to fight,
the truth is, always was, and always will be subjective and
something to fight for, all the advice we can give is to not
believe everything you read

I personally just completely uninstalled tiktok and instagram
after realizing how effective it is at distracting me and
getting me engrossed in political ideas that are completely
worthless and are just made to benefit someone with more
power than me.
