Disciplinary learning portfolio

Instructions:
1. Write in this document your reflection on your learning experience during this fourth
English language course, including knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes
developed. Also, reflect on your personal and academic growth.
2. Write half a page minimum.
3. Check your spelling and punctuation.
4. Compile all your learning evidences from the first 3 weeks (online and face-to-face
sessions) and organize them in one document, along with your disciplinary reflection
document. Upload it to the Learning Evidence Portfolio.
5. Read the evaluation rubric to meet all the evaluation criteria and to accomplish this
task successfully.
6. Submit your evidence in the corresponding week and label it as: DP_Name_Last
name.doc
7. Complete your self-assessment format.

REFLECTION
Some of the things that I have learned during this time are: the narrative text
the same is a text that tells a story to entertain the audience or readers the
same follows the same structure the plot this one is the events of the story
the characters they are the people in the story the setting this is the time and
the place of the story the conflict is the problem or issue in the story the
theme is the meaning or idea behind the story and the pov or point of view
this is the perspective the same is the perspective from which the story is
told. Other types of texts that I have learned are: 2: Informative text the
purpose of this type of text is to inform the reader about the natural or social
world this text have a lot of types such as: Articles, biographies,
autobiographies, books the topic of this type of text can be about history,

social studies, science and the arts. 3: Instructive text this one is a specific
type of writing designed to deliver a clear and logical sequence of instructions
aimed at guiding the reader through an activity to achieve a particular goal.
The language used in such texts must be precise and concrete, ensuring that
every instruction is easily understandable. These texts typically outline
essential actions, operations, or procedures, presenting them in a series of
recommended steps that must be diligently followed to attain the desired
outcome. 4: Descriptive text this type of text it is a kind of text with a
purpose to give information. The context of this kind of text is the description
of a particular thing, animal, person, or others. So after all this knowledge it
helped me to write this text to show how many things I have learned with the
program.
