The essay:
Achieving career and academic success is most people's goal. One of the most
essential reasons for helping people reach this goal is to have a compatible self-learning
style. Nowadays, there are three primary types of learning styles defined as auditory, visual,
and kinesthetic.

Firstly, auditory learning is a style of learning in which we learn better by listening. A


person who learns this way remembers information better when it's taught through sound or
speech rather than written form. This type of learning helps students enjoy taking part in
discussions and listening carefully during lectures because they rely on them as their
primary way of learning. In addition, auditory learners prefer these types of methods over
text-based sources like articles and books. For example, an auditory learner can gather
information through things such as podcasts, audiobooks, and conversations or discussions.
Moreover, they focus best without being distracted by others like music and other people
talking.

Secondly, visual learning is an effective method attracting learners better than


listening or speaking alone. This type of method includes using diagrams, color-coordination,
pictures, and other visual elements to get information attentively. For instance, material is
presented on slides of presentation helping listeners pay more attention as well as get the
point across clearly. In addition, if you are learning about economics, an infographic should
be used and coordinated with organizing colors. When information is arranged logically, this
will also help memorize knowledge firmly. Trying to be a visual learner, take advantage of
this useful learning method to study well.

Finally, kinesthetics is another effective learning method in which learners use


physical senses to learn. Instead of reading or hearing or watching videos, learners do
hands – on activities such as experiments or role-playing. They use their touch, movements,
and feelings to get information. It helps learners understand their roles and responsibilities
effectively. For instance, a child can play a doctor and use some medical tools such as an
x-ray machine or a blood pressure monitor to understand what real doctors do. This method
is more attractive than traditional learning, especially for anyone who is active and loves to
try new things from experiences.

Knowing learning types can help people make strides in their careers or academics
by keeping proactive at analyzing and choosing a compatible self-learning style in building
self-learning plans.
