5. The SAN switch solution must seamlessly integrate with the
concurrent use of both traditional Fibre Channel and NVMe storage
traffic, allowing organization to seamlessly transition to Fibre
Channel Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe/FC) workloads.
6. The specified SAN switch solution should be of enterprise-grade and
director-class, providing a minimum of 192 ports of 64Gbps FC
ports and scalable to at least 384 ports, without any
oversubscription.
7. All FC ports on the SAN switch must be equipped with 64Gbps Add another 1 sfp
SFPs. Additionally, include 2x 32Gbps SFPs/SFP+ for Extended for 40km and

Warranty & Support Service
37. The vendor is required to provide a 5-year warranty period, along with
24/7/365 support and a 4-hour SLA response time.
38. In case of service outages or emergencies, a streamlined incident
escalation process should be in place to ensure prompt resolution.
Additionally, critical faulty parts in the switch should be promptly replaced
within 24 hours of identification to minimize downtime and ensure efficient
resolution.
39. OEM must provide evidence of having a local logistics center in Dhaka for
spare parts availability.
40. The proposed solution should include an online customer/client support or
service portal where Bangladesh Bank can create support incidents, and all
incident history should be retained within the portal throughout the product's
warranty and AMC period.
41. The vendor is responsible for replacing any faulty, damaged, or

C. Implementation & Migration Service

1. The implementation of the proposed SAN Switch solution should be
carried out by the OEM Professional Service Team, ensuring a
comprehensive approach that includes planning, design,
configuration, implementation, migration and thorough
documentation.
2. The implementation should be carried out for 03 DC of Bangladesh
Bank located at Motijheel & Mirpur, Dhaka and Rajshahi.
3. Bidder should deliver required appliance/VM with necessary license
(if required) for installation of central management software for listed
SAN Switch of Type A & B.

4. The Central management software should include and cover all the
necessary license for features supported for both type of SAN Switch
of Type A & B and handover the same to Bangladesh Bank.

D. Training Service

Local Training (Pre-Implementation Training)
1. The bidder should provide a 05 days training of Design,
Configuration and Implementation of 3DC SAN solution for 06
Persons:
 The training should be authorized OEM training.
 The training should be conducted by OEM authorized foreign
trainer.
 The training should provide the lab guide with the lab facility
for all trainees.
 All training-related costs should be carried by Bidder (i.e.,
Trainer accommodation, transport, allowance, lunch,
refreshment, etc., and Trainee lunch, refreshment, transport
etc.)
Foreign Training (Post-Implementation Training)
2. The bidder should provide a 05 days training of Administration and
Troubleshooting of implemented 3DC SAN solution for 06 Persons:
 The training should be authorized OEM training.
 The training should be conducted by OEM authorized foreign
trainer.
 Training Location should be OEM regional head office
country.
 The training should provide the lab guide with the lab facility
for all trainees.
 All training-related costs should be carried by Bidder (i.e.
accommodation, transport, allowance, meals etc.)

E. Pre-Shipment Inspection(PSI)

to perform Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) of all hardware items
before shipment from OEM Warehouse.
