It was the day of the big event I was anticipating for weeks, the
annual inter-house athletic championship. I got dressed early in
my sportswear and went to the venue excitedly. I was selected to
participate in the 200 meters race, a race that I always brought
first in.
The time had come. My teacher signaled me to come to the
starting line. I quickly slipped my feet into the new pair of cozy
SAMPLE OF running shoes. It felt so soft as though clouds were hugging my
DESCRIPTION feet. As I jogged towards the starting line, I felt as though I was
floating on air.
Everyone stopped and stared at my comfortable running shoes.
Not a speck of dirt was on it. It was a dark grey boots with elegant
blue stripes along its sides. There was no lace to tie or to trip me
down. The white, springy sole made it even glamorous and added
a touch of class. With all eyes on me, I felt like Usain Bolt while
approaching the starting point in my snug and cozy shoes.
