Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the computer specialist position in which I found and read
the flyer posted outside your establishment.

My name is Andrea Montero, 21 years old, male, and currently studying as a computer
engineering student at University of Antique Main Campus. I am interested of applying for the
position because I know I have the skills and knowledge that I have. As the largest producer of
ID lanyards in Antique, I know that working in your establishment can give me the experience in
the work industry and can also teach me the essence of hard work.

I am knowledgeable in computer networking. Last February 15, 2019 I received an NC 2


certificate in Computer Systems Servicing which held at Montfort Technical Institute , New
Washington, Aklan. During my time as a junior high school student, I was also awarded as first
runner-up at the 2018 Technolympics for Computer Systems Servicing at Antique Vocational
School, Bugasong. I am also skillful in using MS applications. As a college student, I am capable
of using MS applications like MS Word and Publisher for simple tasks and works. Aside from
that, I am flexible and willing to be trained as said on one of the requirements for the position.

I believe I have the skills, knowledge, and qualifications that you are looking for in a Computer
Specialist. I have a strong knowledge about the latest networking trends and tools as well as a
creative and analytical mindset that allows me to generate innovative and effective solutions.
