Notes on Active and Passive Voice

1. Active Voice
In active voice, the subject performs the action expressed by the verb. It makes sentences
clear and direct.

Example:

- The teacher explained the lesson.

2. Passive Voice
In passive voice, the subject receives the action rather than performing it. It is often used
when the doer of the action is unknown or less important.

Example:

- The lesson was explained by the teacher.
