GROUP ASSIGNMENT # 3

Due: April 10th, 2025 - Group work

Tableau Assignment

Develop the following charts using Tableau Data file posted with the assignment. Copy your
charts and paste them on Power Point and submit your Power Point on Brightspace.

Question 1. Develop a stagger column chart for each Market, using Sales (in $K) sliced by
Segment. Show Sales (in K) as labels (with font size 8) on the chart.

Question 2. Develop map chart for US States, using Sales (in $K) as size of circles. Color the
circle using Profit. Use Orange-Blue divergent color palette. Show Sales (in K) and State names
as labels on the chart with font size 8. Use Normal map option

Question 3. Develop a line chart using Order Date quarters in x-axis and Profit and Sales in y-
axis. Rename y-axis title as $ K.

Question 4. Develop a heat map with for Regions and each Segment and Category. Use Sales
as size of circles (not squares) and Profit as color of the circles.
(Use the slider to increase the size of the circles and change the color to Orange-Blue diverging,
change the view to Entire-View)

Slide 1: Title slide with your group members names

Slide 2 – 5: Tableau charts for each question with insightful titles

Submission:

Please submit both the Tableau and PowerPoint files. The assignment will be graded based on
the results presented in the PowerPoint file.
