Class Test I

Sub – Engg. Drawing (EDG) Branch- ME

Time- 2 hrs

Q 1 = Attempt any two. 4* 3=12 marks

a) Straight line AB is 50 mm long and it is 45° and 30° inclined to HP and VP respectively,
with end A is 15 mm above HP and 10mm in front of VP .Draw the projection when line is in
first quadrant. Also locate the traces of the line.

b) A pentagonal plate of 30 mm side is resting on one side on HP such a that plate is inclined
at 40° with HP and perpendicular to VP. The center of plate is 50mm VP Draw three view.

c) A circular plate of 60 mm diameter is inclined to HP in such a way so that top view


appears to be an ellipse of minor axis 35mm. Draw the projection of plate and find its
inclinations with HP.

d) Line AB 90mm long , has its end A 20 mm above HP and 25 mm in front of VP. The line is
inclined at 30° HP and 45° to VP. Draw its projection. Also locate traces of the line.

e) An isosceles trangle of base 30mm and altitude 50 mmis having its base on HP. Plane is
perpendicular to VP.and inclid to HP. In such a way that top view appears to be an
equilateral trangle.Draw three view of plane.

Q2= Attempt any three 6*3=18 marks
