Scope:
Build a successful hackathon for the graduated youth that empower
their skills to transform their ideas in software development into real projects with the suitable fund to start their own business model. Objectives: Empower the fresh graduated with needed support to achieve their goals. Offer them the suitable fund to start their own business. Encourage local software industry in Egypt. Increase the awareness of software industry between people through hackathon media coverage. Enhance the spirit of challenge between teams to get the best they can make. Key features: Internal team meetings to prepare for the hackathon criteria, define our resources, declaring keys of success, possible risks and determining our budget. Breaking down work structure and forming internal teams to estimate our tasks and writing them in backlog then prioritizing them. Define possible risks (negative risks as threats and how to deal with them and also positive risks as opportunities and how to enhance them). Defining our critical path and take care of our time line. Recurrent quality check and improvement during all the process with flexible mind set to accept changes and improve our old plan. Collecting our stakeholders data and invite qualified professors to give valuable advice to the teams members. Find suitable sponsorship for the event. Good social media coverage for the event and upcoming professors. Interviewing subscribers and forming teams. Documenting all the steps, designs and mockups throughout the process. Make the information radiators so everyone be on touch on our progress. Constraints: Budget: 30,000 EGP Time: 3 months to prepare for the event and 3 days for the whale event Scope: fresh graduated students (maximum 3 years from graduation) User stories: As a participant I want to find all tools I need so that I can build what I want easily.
