Today, our group will be presenting about recycling and the "zero waste" trend in
modern life. With natural resources becoming limited and pollution levels rising,
finding sustainable ways to live has become very important. Each year, the world
produces over 2 billion tons of solid waste, and experts predict this could increase
to 3.4 billion tons by 2050 if we don't change our habits.
In our presentation, we'll explore two important movements that are changing how
people consume products and manage waste: "Recycling" and "Zero Waste."
These concepts are more than just environmental practices - they represent new
lifestyles that benefit our communities and planet.
We'll cover four main topics: the basics of recycling, the growing zero waste
movement, practical applications in everyday life, and future directions for these
trends. We hope that after our presentation, we'll all have a better understanding of
our environmental impact and feel motivated to make positive changes in our daily
routines.
I. Definition of recycling: recycling is the process of
reprocessing waste to create new products, reduce
pollution, and conserve resources.
