Writing Task 1_Process

The recycling of plastic bottles involves nine stages, starting with the collection of plastic waste and ending with the production of new plastic products. Initially, bottles are collected, sorted, compressed, ground, and cleaned, followed by the transformation of clean pieces into pellets, which are then melted to create raw material. This raw material is ultimately used to manufacture various plastic products, which can be recycled again after use.

The diagram illustrates the stages in the recycling of plastic

Overall, there are a total of nine steps involved in the process of recycling plastic bottles,
beginning with collecting plastic waste and ending with complete products.

Regarding the first five stages, unwanted plastic bottles are collected in recycling bins by
worker and waiting for trucks to transport them to a
recycling center, where they are sorted to various specifications. The bottles are then
compressed into blocks. After that, the blocks are ground up by a crushing machine into
small pieces, which are subsequently cleaned.

Turning to the remaining steps, the small clean pieces are put into a machine, where they
are turned into pellets. The machine also heats and melts the pellets, which creates plastic
raw material. Finally, the raw material is made into different plastic products for customers.
After these products are used, they go through the recycling process all over again.
