"Every Child is Special" is a movie that explores the journey of a young boy named
Ishaan Awasthi who struggles with dyslexia, a learning disability that affects his ability to
read and write. He may have academic difficulties, but he has extraordinary artistic skills
for painting and drawing. The main theme of the film is how important it is to
Ishaan always gets in trouble for behaving differently, his performance in school is poor
and is always caught daydreaming in class. His teachers, classmates, neighbors and
even his parents thought he is a lazy and naughty boy. They always compare him to his
brother who excels academically. When Ishaan’s father can’t hold his frustration
anymore, he sent Ishaan to a boarding school hoping that he will improve. Ishaan felt

empathetic, patient, and understanding, unlike the other teachers. Instead of solely
