Procedure:
2. Steady Beat Activities (15 min): Students practice keeping a steady beat through
clapping, tapping, and playing instruments along with music.
3. Rhythmic Pattern Exploration (15 min): Introduce simple rhythmic patterns (e.g.,
quarter notes and eighth notes represented visually). Students clap and play
these patterns.
4. Beat vs. Rhythm (5 min): Discuss the difference between the underlying beat
and the rhythmic patterns played over it.
Differentiation:
o Challenge: Introduce more complex rhythmic patterns and have students create
their own.
