1. Benefits of reading books (Unit 12)
2. Your dream house (Unit 13)
3. An interesting trip you have had (U15)
4. Your favorite hobby (Unit 16)
My favorite hobby is playing badminton. Playing badminton helps me in
different ways. The study (work) is stress demanding and it has been a drain
on my energy; therefore, I play that kind of sport as a way of helping my
mind free from all thoughts. When I am focused on playing it, I feel extremely
relaxed. I often play with my friends, so it is so much easier to share things
related to study (work) and we feel more motivated when we can study and
play the same sport together. In addition, playing badminton also does
wonders for my health because I have to move and run a lot, thus burn my
fat. As I study in the class, sedentary lifestyle is unavoidable, which may lead
to diseases related to our bones. I sweat a lot after each set but this helps me
remove dangerous substances from my body. In short, I love badminton so
much because this makes my physical as well as mental health better.

Describe a piece of clothing you like (speaking)

Today, I’d like to describe my most favorite piece of clothing. Because I’m
a type of traditional person, I would choose the Ao dai- which is the iconic
dress of VN. As a Vietnamese girl, I certainly have one in my wardrope. It is
the tailor – made that was given to by my parents as a gift on my 18th birthday.
I was so touched to receive that special present as it marked the time I became
a freshman in a prestigious university. My Ao dai has a white color with long
light pink trousers. When I put it on, I have a great feeling of feminity. On
special occasion such as wedding or any kind of ceremony or anniversary, my
white Ao dai is always the first thing that comes to my mind. To me, wearing
Ao dai is not only elegant but also makes me more confident and proud.
Although nowadays there are different kinds of modern clothes, I believe that
not only me but also may Vietnamese women still choose Ao dao as a gown
when it comes to special day. It is a way of presenting the beauty and there is
no doubt that it plays an essential role in the spriritual life of Vietnamese
people.
